Bill Fold of Goldenvoice, one of the USA’s top concert firms and the team responsible for staging the Global Citizen Festival, discusses his company’s support for the Global Poverty Project cause.

Organising a concert on the scale of last weekend’s Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, NY, which was attended by more than 60,000, involves no small amount of logistical and technical wrangling. Fortunately for organisers the Global Poverty Project (GPP), one of America’s leading concert staging and promotion outfits, Goldenvoice — the company responsible for monster music festival Coachella — were sufficiently passionate about the GPP’s goals and vision that they agreed to throw their expertise and resources into ensuring the event’s booming, smooth-running success. One of Goldenvoice’s principal partners, Bill Fold, took the time to tell Billionaire.com why his firm got behind the GPP juggernaut.
