Thirty-ninth floor looks to be among Manhattan’s most expensive rentals.
Ever wanted to call the 39th floor of The Pierre hotel home? For US$500,000 a month it could be.
The new ‘Residences’ at The Pierre in Manhattan, New York, allow guests to rent a suite in the hotel or the entire 39th floor for an extended period of time. The residences cost between US$75,000 and US$500,000 a month, and aim to fill a gap in the market for flexible short-term lets.
The 39th floor has three suites, which amounts to six bedrooms (two of which belong to the presidential suite), a further six bathrooms, a living room, a dining room and two pantries.
This is the first time the entire floor has been put on the market with a price tag that is claimed to be the most expensive property currently for rent in Manhattan.
All the residences have access to the hotel services, including a 24/7 concierge, butler service and the hotel’s chauffeur-driven Jaguar.
The 16-bedroom penthouse, which spans the 41st, 42nd and 43rd floors of the hotel, is also on the market, to be sold for US$95 million.
