It may sit within the Mandarin Oriental, one of the most recognisable hotels in Hong Kong, but The Krug Room is certainly one of the best-kept secrets in the city. Not only is the 12-seater restaurant super-intimate, its location — nestled deep within the belly of the hotel’s kitchens — means that it is not the sort of venue that one would simply stumble upon; even getting there from the hotel lobby seems like a mysterious journey in and of itself.
